D’une part la filiation commune de ces cinq langues romanes est mise en évidence, tant en ce qui concerne les désinences verbales que dans les pronoms et adjectifs personnels. D’autre part un certain nombre de particularités contribuent à forger l’identité de chacun de ces idiomes. The interaction in the life of languages between unity and variety is illustrated anew by confronting the different realisations of grammatical person in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian. On the one hand the common root of these five romance languages is evident in their verb conjugations as well as in their pronouns and personal adjectives. On the other hand, various specificities contribute to the identity of each of these idioms.
